We had biscuits and gravy as part of our breakfast foods trial.and it came with a breakfast kale salad.OMG really.but much to my surprise -it was great.and the flavor complimented the gravy. Once in you order and pay in advance and a server brings your food.very quickly I may add.plus you don't have to wait for a check as you've a lready paid a plus. I was sad when we finished them! Amazing.If I went back to Biscuit Love, it would be for those.īiscuit Love was on my wifes 'have to go to' breakfast spot while we were in Nashville.day one we walked down and the lines were really long around 830 so we passed but did look around and everything looked excellent and not much left on peoples plates.always a good sign so we came back day 2 a little later and still a line but they have this operation down pat.and the waiting wasn' t more than 15 minutes. Little fluffy bites of fried biscuit dough filled with lemon mascarpone with the most delicious blueberry compote with giant blueberries. But the Bonuts.oh those were a whole other story. Biscuit was good but the fried chicken wasn't crispy enough, so when the gravy went on top, it just became soggy.

I was actually disappointed in the Big Nasty. My friend and I have been sharing food while on this trip so we can try more things! We ordered the Big Nasty sandwich (biscuit/fried chicken/sausage gravy), Atomic bacon, cheese grits, and the Bonuts. I picked up a great t-shirt where almost all of the profits are being donated to Hurricane relief. There are items for sale in the restaurant while you're waiting in line to order. You order at the counter and then are seated and server brings food to table. Very nice touch was that once you moved into the sun (the first part of the wait-about 30 minutes was in the shade), one of the restaurant employees brought you an umbrella so you didn't have to roast in the heat! Much appreciated. Not so! We arrived around 10:30 to a line weaving in front of the building. Went for brunch on a Monday thinking maybe we would escape the line.
